Room was a little on the small side but contained a nice double bed. The room was exceptionally well furnished with modern furniture and fittings AND it was air-conditioned which was essential as we had 30C temperatures that week. Reception staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. There was plenty of on-site parking. Breakfast was good too. I would definitely stay there again. And Sens is a nice little city with a fabulous medieval cathedral and should not be overlooked. The hotel is within 5 - 10 minutes walk to the city centre.

We stayed in 2 ‘comfort’ rooms for 2 adults and 2 teenagers (and our Labrador). Both rooms were very clean and spacious. The shower was one of the best EVER. It was absolutely amazing. The air conditioning was brilliant and so welcome in the hot weather we had. Parking in front of the hotel. Our dog cut her paw (not the hotels fault), and the lady on reception was so kind and gave us details for a few local vets so we were able to get her sorted very quickly. Also a fantastic location being a few minutes walk to the town and very close to the river. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, really good location being just a short walk from the train station. Easy to find. Sens is beautiful. Shops and restaurant options locally. Lovely flower beds with three different colours of forget-me-nots. It just had a nice "feel" to it. I came back to the UK and said that if I ever decided to move to France it would probably be to Sens. However, with a cat, two dogs, three Cayuga ducks, 16 chickens and 18 alpacas plus a number of greenhouses, a move abroad would be just too challenging. I have some lovely river photos to remember Sens though.

We just had a standard double room and the bed was ery comfortable, the shower was spacious and powerful and the location was close to the river.

Perfectly located in the heart of the beautiful old town of Sens with secure off street parking directly outside the reception of the hotel. Excellent staff, very clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was again excellent with large buffet choice of hot and cold options. The town is charming and the hotel is a 10 minute stroll to the huge gothic cathedral in the centre where Thomas Beckett sought sanctuary until 1170 (when he returned to England and met his death in Canterbury Cathedral). The hotel is also a 2 minute walk from the River Yonne for a nice walk. I would highly recommend for an overnight stay. An easy 4.5 hour drive from Calais.

Good location, close to river and town. Limited choice but reasonably priced evening food, served in nice garden terrace area when sunny. Good parking.

The location was perfect and the lady at Reception was amazing! She ensured that we could check in early, advised us about sights in town, and then helped us to find an open restaurant and made a booking for us. The room was clean and perfect.

Friendly staff. Great location. Beautiful room with spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bed . Breakfast was really good with a very large selection of foods, cheeses, baked goods, cereals and much more.
